Welcome!

And also welcome to what will become an installation piece at Subspace in September! In the meantime I'll be working on bringing this up to a fully functional state, though probably still not responsive. I'll be redesigning everything to fit comfortably within the resolution of a G3 iMac.

This will be a family group show that explores the intersection between art and technology, web revival/nostalgia, and modern internet cynicism. Truly I'm stoked to see this all come together, and I'm having so much fun with it.

THE LIST

Website

• Create and finish new pages for all of my nav links
  • About - Nearly done, waiting on last bit of info
  • Vault - Has a fully started series of pages, but needs to be condensed and finished
  • Altar - Not started
  • Art - Not started, currently links to my portfolio
  • Toys - Started, but needs to be reworked
  • Yard - Not started
  • The Amazing Grape - Graphic elements started, no code yet
  • Links - More or less done now.
  • Would like to create a guestbook, looking into SmartGB
  • Would also like to nab a hit counter and stick it somewhere

Hardware

• Secured two vintage iMacs. Both need to be cleaned, and reformatted.
  • Need to find peripherals
  • (Want) to create text doc easter eggs for the desktops

Graphics

• Made the first of many (I'm sure) ads for the show.

• Started creating custom stamps to offer - 3 so far, currently working on fourth.

• Started working on new graphics for a collection of recipes I'll be adding here, including a modified version of my mascot. Look at him, he's so cute.

Paintings

• "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better" is complete, needs varnishing and framing
• "Bliss For Sale" - first layer of paint going in now

• "All My Online Friends Are Dead" conceptualized
• 10x stamp physical paintings conceptualized

Blanket

• DOOM BLANKET IS GO. On square 8 right now.
  • Mom's portion is well underway - with at least 12 done so far.
  • Still double checking my pattern accuracy
  • Waiting on two skeins to arrive in the mail - otherwise ready to start

Dad's Work

• All print pieces framed and ready
• Need to figure out how to loop animation and set it up for display
• Need to figure out publishing and printing of books

Merchandising

• Would like to have small prints available of larger works
• Would like to have stickers made of stamps, and other pixel graphics
  • Recipe box sticker sheet is in progress. Making edits for print clarity.
